The Governor's Energy Office (GEO) was re-created in 2007 by Colorado's governor. The GEO's mission is to lead Colorado to a New Energy Economy by advancing energy efficiency and renewable, clean energy resources.

 

The Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.

 

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), as part of the U.S Department of Energy, is the United States' primary laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development.
